Day to Day duties : Will be on the heart team
- Circulate and / or Scrub on all cases.
- Primarily, GEN, GYN, Urology, Ortho (Totals / Sports Medicine), Spine, Neuro, Plastics, Robotics (DaVinci XI) and Trauma.
- Penrose specializes in Heart, Vascular surgeries with dedicated service teams for hearts and Vascular only.
- Associates are cross trained for all other services.
- Giving breaks and / or providing additional supplies and sterile instruments as needed during operations.
- Assisting with Room turnover and restocking for next day's cases.
- Acting as an advocate for patient before, during and after surgery.
Previous OR experience required
Previous Heart team / CVOR experience required
Schedule : 40hrs / week Days-Variable shifts per surgical volume and unit needs
Call Required- average 1 call shift per week Mon - Thu, one Friday call every 4 to 6 weeks and one 24-hour weekend call about every 4 to 6 weeks-40-50hrs per month
30 min callback radius required
