We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical / Surgical team for the Night Shift! Our unit provides specialized care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, as well as general medical care for various conditions.
As a Registered Nurse, you will evaluate patients, implement care plans, assist physicians, administer medications, and promote patient independence through education and support.
An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred. A current RN license in Texas and Basic Life Support certification are also necessary.

- Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care
- Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
- Administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
- Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an acute care hospital Med / Surg unit preferred
- Orthopedics experience highly desired
