Overview

We are looking for a paralegal experienced in Family Law, Criminal, Estate Planning, Probate, for our office in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of family law and have prior experience operating in a court setting. You can assist attorneys in other practice areas such as criminal, estate planning, or probate. They must demonstrate superior communication abilities, strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. The ability to balance and prioritize multiple obligations in a fast-paced work environment is essential. Communicating with Spanish-speaking clients is a plus. The role requires maintaining utmost privacy.

Responsibilities

  • Review and draft legal documents relating to family law, estate planning, and probate
  • Collect and respond to discovery requests
  • Serve subpoenas and other legal notices
  • Establish effective communication with clients and relevant contacts
  • Prepare for court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings
  • Ensure deadlines and calendar obligations are met
  • Work in conjunction with family law attorneys

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
  • Knowledgeable in family law rules, regulations, and the legal filing process
  • Knowledgeable in estate planning and probate
  • Demonstrated attention to minute details
  • Highly organized and efficient work style
  • Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experienced in managing tight deadlines and handling sensitive information
  • Proficient in using and navigating Microsoft Office, Adobe, and timekeeping software
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in family law
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in estate planning
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and people skills; proficient in meeting deadlines and handling confidential information
  • Compensation

    $70,000-$85,000 per year
