Do you love working with young children? Join our team at Guidepost Montessori Old Town and assist in a classroom that is transforming lives.
We serve children in both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking classrooms. Currently looking to hire both native English and Spanish-speaking Teacher Assistants! This is a great opportunity to learn about the Montessori method, as you will learn from experienced teachers at all levels.
Previous Montessori experience is not required. We will give you the tools to learn.
About the role
We're looking for enthusiastic, adaptable Teacher Assistants, Assistant Teachers and Child Care workers that have a passion for working with children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old and curiosity about a Montessori environment.
We are looking for people available Part-Time (afternoons 12pm / 3pm-6pm) or Full-Time within the hours of 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday for our year round schools.

About You
Minimum Qualifications :
- Experience working with young children ages 0-6 in a group care environment, such as a daycare, preschool, camp, or aftercare program
- Have a valid state background check
- Negative TB test within last 12 months
- First Aid / CPR Certification
Nice to Have :
- Experience as nanny, caregiver, educator, coach, and customer service
- Warm and friendly demeanor
- Interest in working in a Montessori environment
- Passionate about connecting with parents and colleagues
