Soliant Health, a leading healthcare staffing provider, is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for a full-time, onsite position at a school district in Tuskegee, AL.
As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in providing passionate healthcare support to students and collaborating with a dynamic team of professionals.
Responsibilities :
- Administer routine medical care and first aid to students as needed
- Monitor students' health conditions and ensure their safety during school hours
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and established protocols
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for students
- Assist in the management and coordination of students' Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs)
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to address students' medical needs
- Provide health education and support to students and their families
- Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay updated on healthcare policies and procedures
Qualifications :
- Valid Alabama state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- High school diploma or equivalent; pletion of an accredited LPN program
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures, medication administration, and first aid
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
