Senior Construction Project Manager (Anticipated Opening) - Full-time. Turner & Townsend Heery operates throughout the United States as part of Turner & Townsend. Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking a Senior Project Manager with experience in the design and construction management of public sector projects in Spokane. Experience with state, county and local municipality projects including Higher Education or K-12 school district clients is a plus. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can take initiative and drive activities with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages.
  • Financial management – ensuring prompt client invoicing and using financial systems to monitor a project\'s financial status.
  • Project planning, including producing a detailed project plan.
  • Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
  • Managing the change control process.
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client through regular meetings and written communications.
  • Preparing formal project budget progress and other reports.
  • Quality control – ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Working to construct proposals for new work or variations for existing projects.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products and referring ideas to the appropriate line manager.
  • Identifying and ensuring the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
  • Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilized throughout the project.
  • Advising at a strategic level during project conception, including advice on approaches to achieve client objectives.
  • Great time management to ensure the project is managed to the right quality standards, completed efficiently and on time.
  • Building strong working relationships with clients and cross-functional team members.
  • Working effectively as a team member within the context of delivering a specific assignment.
  • Identifying business development opportunities with existing and new clients, including cross-selling opportunities.
  • Sharing and retaining key information and data appropriately.

Education / Experience

  • 8+ years of design and construction management experience.
  • BS degree in construction management, engineering or architecture (an AA can be acceptable with sufficient project experience).
  • Alternative Deliver (PDB Preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience leading the design and construction phases.
  • Experience using various PMIS software.
  • Skilled in MS Office, Adobe, Bluebeam.
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations preferred (CCM, PMP, PE).
  • Experience managing demanding stakeholders and work stream managers.
  • Salary : The salary range for this full-time role is

    $110k-$140k

    per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, not total compensation. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate\'s experience and qualifications.
