Leading Insurance company is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join its growing team in Durham, NC.

This is a Hybrid opportunity - (3 days a week at the office / 2 days a week from home)

Description :

This Treasury Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting the Treasury Manager in managing all banking and treasury activities for the organization.

We are seeking a driven, self-starter with a solid understanding of finance and accounting. Communication skills are highly important, as well as the ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You Will Do :

• Know and understand various banking solutions. Provide solutions to meet business needs.
• Ensure the safety of corporate funds and assets through proper segregation of duties and access controls.
• Ensure the integrity and effectiveness of internal controls related to treasury functions.
• Manage the bank account set-up and maintenance.
• Manage the posting and maintenance of eligible collateral to FHLB.
• Assist with the maintenance of a treasury management system (GTreasury) to help manage treasury functions in an automated fashion.
• Assist Accounting and Operations teams with reconciliations and outstanding items.
• Manage the check voiding and reissue responsibilities.
• Assist with the maintenance of all statutory and custodial deposits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Manage the unclaimed property tracking application to run reports, mail customer letters, enter payment details, and remit funds to various states.
• Work with the Treasury team on various projects and tasks as required.

Job Details

Qualifications :

• BA / BS in Finance, Accounting, or related degree
• Minimum of 3+ years of Treasury experience
• Attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and eagerness to learn
• Advanced technology skills, including advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, etc.)
• Experience organizing and prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Collaborative approach based on the ability to listen and value others’ opinions
