Role Description : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Driver for our New Castle, DE, location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods from our New Castle, DE, location to our receiver in Middletown, NY, using an automatic day cab.

This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Safely operate Class A CDL vehicles.
• Adhere to assigned schedules and routes, ensuring timely completion.
• Utilize electronic devices for job-related tasks.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, coworkers, and customers.
• Regularly sit and occasionally lift.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods between specified locations.
• Maintain compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Uphold the company's standards of professionalism and customer service.
• Manage logs and documentation accurately and efficiently, utilizing Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).

Qualifications :

• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Class A driving or related roles.
• Strong attention to detail, adhering to schedules and delivery timelines.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to transportation regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Experience with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD).
• Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to address minor vehicle issues.
• Patience and flexibility to handle unexpected delays or changes in schedules.
• Clean MVR and background, valid Medical Card.
• Must be registered with the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

• Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 AM start.
