Commercial Fire Alarm Superintendent

Founded in 1984, Firetrol is the national leader in fire protection & life safety services. We are currently seeking a Field Superintendent to join our team of over 1,200 of the best fire protection professionals in the industry in our Houston, TX location.

• Lead fire alarm installations from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all project specifications and code requirements.
• Supervise and coordinate field team, subcontractors, and site activities related to fire alarm systems.
• Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure safety, quality workmanship, and schedule adherence.
• Interpret electrical and fire alarm drawings and delegate tasks accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and general contractors to address design or installation issues.
• Ensure timely procurement of fire alarm materials and equipment in coordination with Project Manager and warehouse.
• Support inspections, testing, and commissioning with AHJs and third-party agencies.
• Train, mentor, and develop foreman and helpers.
• Document field progress, change orders, and labor tracking through daily reports and project logs
• Maintain tracking of all tools and material on site.
