Job Summary :
Responsible for the check-in and care of all spa guests and spa facilities while offering the highest level of personalized service.
Essential Job Functions
- Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
- Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful and professional attitude with all guests and team members
- Maintain spa facility by performing necessary housekeeping duties (picking up towels, cups, shower & bathroom area, vanity area and all surrounding areas).
- Uphold spa décor by maintaining the set-up and cleanliness of the area.
- Give tours and describe the spa facility to all guests entering the facility.
- Provide beverage service to all guests by the offer first principles.
- Handle guest requests and questions in a calm, professional, and courteous manner.
- Ensures guests services are started on time
- Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and their benefits
- Maintain an understanding of the spa industry and spa philosophy (balance, relaxation, unity, and a healthy lifestyle)
- Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy, fit appearance and a positive attitude.
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well organized work area
- Assist in all areas of the spa operation as directed by management
- Comfortable around guests in a state of undress.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years customer service experience required
- Obtain a valid Heath Card
- Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm appearance
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands :
- Must be able to lift 25lbs
- Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day : including a great deal of walking though out the day
