The Director of Product Management oversees the entire lifecycle of product development for the Consumer Bank which includes Retail Delivery (Branches, Contact Center), Small Business, SBA, Mortgage, and Consumer Lending.

The Director of Product Management will gain insight into the effectiveness and attractiveness of all Consumer products, consult with stakeholders and test consumers to determine concerns about the product and suggest improvements.

The product management team will also drive innovation and assess product enhancement and introduction opportunities and priorities.

Job Responsibilities :

• Create a strategic plan for the product management function as well as the management of the entire product portfolio.
• Define and align the vision, Consumer Bank strategy and product roadmap, to achieve strategic objectives.
• Drive innovation with the product team and business line stakeholders and develop relevant business cases.
• Manage key strategic partnerships and lead necessary contract negotiations.
• Define and monitor relevant KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set including defining, implementing key initiatives, and monitoring how the Consumer Bank can achieve greater primacy with its customers.
• Lead a product management team in which you motivate and achieve steady improvements in your area.
• Responsible for providing technical lead and guidance activities to junior colleagues.
• Identify and promote high potentials and talent.
• Manage both structured workflows and expectations for existing products and requires an innovative and collaborative approach to identify future product enhancements and product introductions for the Consumer Bank.
• Travel within WSFS Bank footprint (Philadelphia, Wilmington DE, and NJ).

Minimum Qualifications :

• BA / BS In relevant field (e.g., Finance, Marketing, Product Management).
• 10+ years of experience including 5+ Years of relevant experience in Product Management and management of Teams.
• Must have proven track record over multiple years in a product management capacity responsible for developing value propositions and viability of solutions.
• Must have proven ability to quickly learn new domains, as well as solid understanding of all major parts of the business.
• Must demonstrate understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
• Must demonstrate a clear understanding of the role of the primary coach of the product managers, and how that differs from managing products directly.
• Must have proven ability to engage with both individual contributors and leaders of all levels in constructive and collaborative relationships.
• Must have excellent communication skills to communicate with management and senior management as well as with Associates and colleagues.
• Relevant Product Management education and / or certifications are desirable (e.g., Open Product Management Workflow™).
