Position Summary
This position is responsible for developing and delivering sales analysis and comprehensive data reporting in their assigned Business Unit, with an emphasis on the Key Account-related initiatives.
Working in conjunction with Field Sales, the BUAM and under the general direction of the BUOD, the Business Unit Analyst evaluates the overall arc of the Business Unit performance against plan targets and identifies opportunities to bridge depletions, distribution and incentive program gaps.
Responsibilities
Provides monthly benchmarking and scorecard reporting on results and standings relative to plan performance, distribution, depletions, billings and retail execution using CBI data mining tools with an emphasis on Key Accounts.
Develops and circulates reports recapping BU and Key Account performance versus targets.
- Collaborating with the BU Analysis Manager, the BU Analyst establishes, develops and manages all BU data reporting processes.
- Responsible for ensuring BU data management and integrity. Including the maintenance of key account and distributor retail data hierarchies.
- Works in conjunction with Key Account Managers to capture all Constellation portfolio authorizations / distribution mandates by retailer as well as identifies all distribution voids via internal data reporting.
- Communicates with Key Account partners to acquire data for detailed reporting and scorecard development.
- Develops presentation materials, tools, and data for wholesaler and Key Account meetings.
- Leads Business Unit Chain communication process, coordinating all critical aspects of BU Chain department such as monthly ad features and new distribution updates and disseminates to Constellation field sales and wholesaler organizations.
Develops and provides distribution and velocity forecasts.
- Supports various reporting and insights specific to distributor inventory and ordering to identify opportunities and issues.
- IRI go-to’ for the BU, including ad hoc IRI analysis to identify latest trends and opportunities.
- Identify and communicate consumer and shopper insight information available through marketing and category management divisions.
Proactively provide information to KAM’s and MDM’s to use for selling purposes.
- Help to drive innovation in the Business Unit by proactively identifying new reporting opportunities and optimizing existing reports.
- Participates in periodic field market visits, wholesaler / KAM meetings and Retail Vision surveys with BU Field sales team members to gain an understanding of market dynamics and apply insights to sales support projects.
- Provide ad hoc support to Space Team as needed.
- Completes ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on business, marketing, finance or related field and 1-3 years of experience in business analytics.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs and exceptionally skilled with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to retrieve and synthesize sales data to deliver persuasive and fact-based sales presentations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to learn internal software applications and specialized customer tools as required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels both internal and external.
Partners with stakeholders to establish clear parameters for deliverables and follow-up timeframes.
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerBI data visualization software.
- Precise, detail-oriented, analytical, and deadline-driven with the ability to work under pressure. Must take initiative and work with a high level of professionalism.
- Demonstrates high degree of critical thinking skills and flexibility.

The salary range for this role is :
$78,800.00 - $118,200.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
