Our dynamic organization is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. This role is integral to our business as it involves managing and nurturing client relationships, ensuring the smooth running of accounts, and providing top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, you will be responsible for

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring all client needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Coordinating with the underwriting department to ensure accurate and timely servicing of accounts.
  • Identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, and promoting the company's products and services.
  • Handling renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations, and advising clients accordingly.
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of strategies and processes.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance, account management, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A sound understanding of commercial insurance products and regulations.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate client needs and provide solutions.
  • The ability to work well in a team, as well as independently.
  • A professional insurance designation (e.g., CIC, CRM, etc.) would be an asset.
