Job Summary :

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Manager to oversee their aerospace manufacturing facility in North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all plant operations, ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The Plant Manager will lead a team of production staff, engineers, and technicians to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant operations and achieve production goals
• Manage and coordinate all manufacturing processes, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control
• Lead and mentor a team of production staff, engineers, and technicians to ensure high performance and employee engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
• Develop and manage plant budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability
• Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders to support business growth

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in plant management or operations leadership roles in the aerospace manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing principles
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and achieving production targets
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
