We are seeking a Procurement Specialist / Estimator / Project Manager to oversee supplier relationships, delivery / logistics, contract negotiating, estimating, and cost efficiencies on design / build and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects with our design and construction teams to develop the most cost-effective solutions for our clients.
This position can work in any of the following Pennsylvania office locations (Pittsburgh, Mechanicsburg, Lancaster, Conshohocken or Lehigh Valley) or remotely from the PA / NJ / DE / MD region.
Responsibilities :
- Procurement :
- Develop and implement purchasing and supply chain management processes for design / build and EPC Renewables projects.
- Facilitate the purchasing process for major equipment.
- Implement procurement processes to ensure efficiency, cost savings and best practices.
- Manage preparation, implementation and execution of procurement processes.
- Prepare construction budgets based on available information, vendor quotes, and other information related to the project.
- Collaborate with our design team, construction team, and partners to develop a cost-effective project for our clients.
- Proposal writing and multi-discipline team leadership as appropriate.
- Project Management :
- Maintain active engagement in projects through exceptional management, coordination, resource allocation and client delight.
- Support the group’s project managers in delivering client delight and profitability on assigned projects.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Construction, or a related field.
- Minimum of five years of experience in procurement and supply chain.
- Technical knowledge and skill in construction projects.
- Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, ordering and material knowledge.
- Understanding financial impacts of the Supply Chain Management.
- Ability to handle procurement and supply chain logistics across multiple states.
- Proficient in MS Project.
