Health Business Development and Capture Leader

Key Role :

Drive capture of business development opportunities including shaping, proposal, contract start-up, and execution. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts.

Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both firm and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications :

10+ years of experience in a senior business development role with a federal government contractor focused on management, technology, or life science sales

Experience managing elements of the capture and proposal lifecycle, including developing pipelines, executing call plans, facilitating client meetings, designing teaming strategy and negotiating with team partners, and pricing and proposal development, including managing responses and writing content

Knowledge of the HHS market, including organizational structure, competitive landscape, and buying patterns

Knowledge of HHS industry partners and developing and implementing teaming strategy for specific bids

Ability to critically listen and identify and communicate client needs across a broad array of requirements, including IT, analytics, life sciences, cyber, and communications

Ability to pull in a broad array of firm wide capabilities, including IT, analytics, life sciences, cyber, and communications, and integrate and tailor into a client capability briefing to help shape and influence thinking around client challenges

Ability to use a CRM tool to drive efficient capture and proposal efforts

Ability to coordinate the management of intellectual capital with our marketing SMEs to help drive branding within the market and with prospective buyers

Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability / Fitness determination based on client requirements

Bachelor's degree

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $110,100.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
