The Senior Manager of the Attendee Qualification center of excellence will manage a team of full time associates and hourly contractors responsible for the review and categorization of attendees for exclusive role-based content and networking opportunities.

This includes end-user and vendor tagging, as well as vetting applicants for segmented programming such as our CxO Circles.

They will also be responsible for creating attendee-facing and internal communications and collateral, ensuring accuracy prior to distribution.

A successful candidate will thrive in a quick moving environment with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, experience working across multiple teams and cultures, impeccable communication skills, and the proven ability to manage a center of excellence.

The Attendee Qualification Team is a key stakeholder in the attendee experience operating as a behind-the-scenes touchpoint of the attendee registration flow.

This team also pre-qualifies C-level license users for exclusive programming. Their tagging and qualifications directly shape the type of experience the attendee receives at the conference.

This Sr. Manager will look to improve processes, handle escalations, perform periodic auditing of approvals / declines, and manage team resourcing to meet conference demand.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the Attendee Qualification Team and Qualification Process for our Segmented CXO Circle Programs

Ensure an exceptional experience for all conference attendees registering for our conferences

Build and manage a lean team that is able to support the global portfolio of conferences by closely monitoring resourcing needs as well as team costs against budgeted spend

Streamline programs and process globally and look to technology for automation solutions that allow for scalability and increased efficiencies

Continue to scale Conference’s ability to pre-qualify our C-level clients promptly after contract signing.

Provide hands-on training to existing team members, new hires, and other business units on an ongoing basis

Collaborate with key internal partners across the business to improve programs and processes, as well as identify additional opportunities to expand the team’s role and responsibilities

Partner with Program Management, Service Delivery, and Product to understand the evolution of the roles we serve.

Verify accuracy of automated attendee communications and marketing websites

Provide timely check-ins with the team for status updates and to work through any questions and concerns

Build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders to create true partnerships and ensure we are always driving the right attendees to the right conference experiences

Directly support programs within a program’ including the Midsize Enterprise Program and Global Enterprise Executive Experience.

Willingness and ability to support destination conferences, both in-person and virtually.

Requirements

5+ years of leading teams and programs

7+ years of corporate experience

Experience working with data and advanced excel

Strong organizational skills : able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Previous leadership experience

Client focused with proven customer service skills

Strategic thinker : able to work issues through to resolution

Proactive and decisive with a high sense of urgency

Communicative and collaborative with strong oral and written communication skills

Competent Project Manager

Previous Conference or Hospitality experience a plus

Ability to travel 10% of the time

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 79,200 USD - 123,000 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
