Key Responsibilities :

Perform accurate imaging exams as ordered by physicians or providers

Administer EKGs and present results to physicians or providers

Apply critical thinking skills and respond to emergent situations

Maintain daily records and ensure department organization

Ensure confidentiality of patient medical records

Utilize imaging and EMR computer systems correctly

Perform quality control testing

Interact professionally with providers, co-workers, patients, and families

Accept additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals

Qualifications / Requirements :

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year of experience in Radiology

Certification in any of the following :

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from one of the following :

American Red Cross (ARC)

American Heart Association (AHA)
