Database Administrator II - Security Clearance Required

ManTech is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Database Administrator II in Ft . Meade , MD .

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Assist in designing and generating SQL tables, unstructured data systems, and data transmission interfaces to the interconnecting system for which the prototype is designed to operate .

R esponsible for security, user access, backups, instance tuning and security controls to protect the data management system(s).

C ollaborate closely with software development teams. The Database Administrator II will receive guidance from the Database Administrator III.

Minimum qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order

2 years of experience in position-relevant tasks.

Preferred qualifications :

Vendor tool certifications appropriate to TDL requirements (e.g., Oracle and Mongo).

Security clearance requirement :

Must have a current / active TS / SCI and be able and willing to obtain a polygraph .

Physical requirements :

Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time

Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a compute r
