Job Description for Technical Writer :
The Technical Writer will be responsible for transforming content into a publication-ready format. The role includes :
- Formatting the text, adding tool tips, and creating tabular depictions, charts, and graphs.
- Coordinating layout, adding copywriting requirements, and organizing manuals and guides.
- Document prewriting, drafting, revising, editing, proofreading, and preparing manuals / guides / content for publication.
- Creating Technical Placemats with details regarding manuals / guides.
Required Experience & Skills :
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills; capable of preparing written communication that conveys information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in understanding user requirements and implementing them in documentation and videos.
- Experience with a range of visual information design techniques.
- Ability to create engaging and effective instructional training videos.
- Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts and procedures.
- Ability to recommend or implement improvements in documents.
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a larger team, developing working relationships with other internal groups to meet objectives.
- Organized, professional, motivated, and adept at making quick decisions.
- Demonstrated ability in mastering a complex publishing system.
