Responsibilities
Operate and monitor less complex equipment and machines under general supervision; replenish materials as needed throughout the production shift Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available and ready Visually inspect production run and document results Provide basic maintenance of equipment, to include cleaning, inspection of equipment, and lubrication Maintain cleanliness of the work area;
maintain organized workspace Perform quality review of equipment to maintain safety and performance standards Support Continuous Improvement by participating in root cause / corrective action analyses when equipment is not performing at optimal level Follow established safety, quality and environmental policies, practices, and programs Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements High School Diploma (or GED) required Knowledge of manufacturing, production operations, and industrial technology preferred Eagerness to learn and grow skills in a team environment Motivated mindset and excellent attendance record Must be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipment Must be able to read and interpret work instructions Ability to perform essential functions working under general supervision, generally with a trainer or higher level technician Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently Ability to stand for up to 11 hours during shift Ability to reach overhead frequently Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently Ability to ascend and descend sets of stairs both metal grate and concrete on a frequent basis">
