Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a team of engineers, product managers, and designers to develop and enhance features for the TikTok AndroidTV app by translating design specifications into functional app features utilizing Java, Kotlin, and / or the Android development framework.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate and integrate required services for seamless app functionality.
• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize app performance.
• Actively participate in agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving critical issues, collaborating with team members to meet tight deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of scalable and reusable code modules to improve the app's overall efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following :

• Front-end web and mobile application development;
• Designing and implementing large-scale, complex web applications using frameworks including React and Angular;
• Developing web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, and Python;
• Investigating and fixing logic issues in existing web applications using Chrome DevTools and VS Code debuggers;
• Optimizing performance for JavaScript (React.js and Node.js) web apps running in browsers and on servers; and
• Providing peer-review and feedback of programmed codes.

Type : Full time, 40 hours / week

Location : Bellevue, WA

Salary Range : $137750 - $237500 per year
