Cyber Security Engineer
Pay : $120,000-140,000
Location : Onsite in Cedar Park, TX
Our client is looking for a Cyber Security Expert ensure regulatory compliance and improve cybersecurity measures.
Here’s what you’ll be doing :
- Conduct security risk assessments and audits.
- Lead security strategy and data protection initiatives.
- Address and resolve cybersecurity incidents.
- Simplify security data for reports and stakeholders.
- Enhance cybersecurity operations with new tools and processes.
- Collaborate with business leaders on security risk solutions.
- Manage risk and compliance issues across the organization.
- Develop contingency plans, business continuity strategies, and disaster recovery efforts.
- Maintain a centralized dashboard for cybersecurity risks and statuses.
- Integrate and maintain CMMC 2.0 standards and certification.
Here’s what our ideal candidate has :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 6+ years in IT with a focus on cybersecurity and compliance.
- CISSP, CISM, or similar.
- Knowledge of NIST-800, SOC, GDPR, SOX.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and NIST-800 framework.
