JOB DESCRIPTION
Team Member : Shift Manager
Brenz Pizza Co is looking for a Shift Manager who can lead a highly skilled team. This position has room for future advancement as Assistant Manager. .
Brenz is a rapidly expanding company and being a Shift Manager could be just the start of your career with us. At Brenz Pizza Co we pride ourselves in our high-quality ingredients, unique combinations, and exceptional service.
To maintain this standard, we need a Shift Manager who pays attention to details, can motivate their kitchen staff, and is willing to do whatever it takes to produce amazing food.

Job Skills / Requirements :
Brenz is here to help you succeed, but before you join our team there are a few basic requirements for the Shift Manager position.
Knowledge : Shift Managers must have a knowledge of the restaurant industry, health standards, and food safety regulations.
We also expect our Shift Managers to know how to order food from our approved vendors and be able to maintain an accurate inventory
Experience / Education : We expect applicants to have experience in restaurant kitchens and the willingness to learn / do all the jobs in the Brenz kitchen.
Managers must also be able to communicate clearly with others (both verbally and written) and be able to organize and make weekly schedules with the help of the general manager.
Leadership Ability : Being a Shift Manager is like being a team captain. A Benz Shift Manager will need to communicate with their staff, along with drivers, front of the house, and general manager.
Managers need to lead by example, supervise kitchen staff, and uphold Brenzs high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Other : An Brenz Manager must be at least 18 years old. They also need to be able to physically stand for long periods of time and lift heavy loads regularly.
Also, they will need to take part in the day-to-day tasks in the restaurant kitchen (cleaning, prep, boxing products, etc.
- Additionally applicants must have : A high school diploma (university degree preferred); A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience;
- Basic knowledge of P & L statements; Basic math and accounting skills; Strong guest service, communication; leadership and conflict resolutions skills;
- Full availability for any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays; Good personal grooming; Ability to stand for 8 hours ;
Ability to use motion that entails pushing, pulling, stretching and continuous bilateral use of fingers and wrists; Ability to lift 35-50 pounds
