The modernization initiative will empower PowerScale to provide acomposable, disaggregated, software-defined architecture with thecapacity to store exabytes of data and deliver unparalleledperformance.

What youwill achieve

As anexperienced software engineer in the FileSystems and DataServicesteam, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to workon innovative solutions.

You will constantly be challenged indeveloping and improving new and current technologies with thesupport of your team behind you as we re-architecture OneFS todeliver value for our customers in this evolving GenAIera.

Youwill :

Design,develop and deliver solutions to distributed computing problems forscale-out OneFS filesystem and dataservices

Develop featuresfor OneFS to address scale, performance, and GenAI readiness ofPowerScale

Collaboratewithin and outside of your scrum team during the entire softwaredevelopment cycle to ensure we leverage common components, buildoptimized solutions with highestquality

EssentialRequirements

BS inComputer Science or related technical field with minimumfive years of relevant work experience in UNIX / Linux / POSIX basedsystems softwaredevelopment

Excellentknowledge of developing system software using C andC++

Solidunderstanding of Data Structures, memorymanagement, algorithms, locking, design patterns, concurrencymodels, multithreading, parallel programming and asynchronousconcepts

Knowledge of distributed software systems, operating systems, file systems orembeddedsoftware

Knowledge of storage networking protocols, connectivity, andarchitectures

DesirableRequirements

Excellentanalytical and problem solvingskills

Compensation

Dellis committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this position : $161,000 to$240,000
