About the Sr. Technical Program Manager Role :

Join our client as a Sr. Technical Program Manager on a 3-month contract. You will guide a team of software engineers in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions.

This role requires a senior-level technical program manager to lead architectural decisions, ensure best practices, and manage the technical aspects of projects without direct coding.

You'll play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring that all deliverables meet high standards and align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities :

• Project Leadership : Lead the planning, design, and implementation of software projects, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration : Partner with project managers and stakeholders to define requirements, timelines, and resources.
• Code Quality Oversight : Oversee the development process to ensure the production of robust, performant, and secure code.
• System Improvement : Advocate for and implement software best practices to improve existing systems.
• Troubleshooting : Guide the team in resolving complex technical issues efficiently.
• Technology Evaluation : Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends, and assess their relevance to the project.
• Agile Leadership : Foster a collaborative and iterative project environment by leading Agile methodologies.

Qualifications :

• Experience : Minimum of 10 years in software development, with at least 5 years in technical leadership or program management roles.
• Requirements Analysis : Assist in gathering and analyzing requirements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
• Architecture Design Support : Contribute to the planning and design of application architectures, especially those validating external API payloads.
• Development Support : Provide guidance on technical decisions, code reviews, and best practices.
• API Expertise : Experience working with and integrating APIs, with a strong understanding of API design principles and authentication mechanisms.
• Security Knowledge : Experience implementing security controls, encryption, and access management mechanisms.
• UX Support : Assist in creating seamless user experiences for program candidates.
• Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and help prioritize tasks.
• Metrics and Analysis : Define and track KPIs and OKRs to measure product success and inform decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Technical Audits : Experience supporting technical audits, assessments, or certifications.
• Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with financial services and open banking trends.
• Offshore Collaboration : Experience working with offshore teams.
• Database Experience : Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases and their design patterns.
• Senior Experience : Expertise in bridging gaps between technical and non-technical teams.
• Testing Suite Development : Experience in developing conformance test suites and engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Fintech Experience : Experience developing Fintech applications within complex banking infrastructures.
