The Pediatrics Physician at Covenant Children's Hospital provides comprehensive pediatric care, both as an inpatient and outpatient specialist, in a rapidly growing department. Responsibilities include treating patients, engaging in education for residents and medical students, and potential involvement in research and academic activities. The position offers competitive compensation, relocation assistance, and a benefits package, focused on improving children's health in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Location : Central portion of Michigan s Lower Peninsula and is part of the Great Lakes Bay Region.

  • Covenant Children's Hospital is the region's leader in children's health care
  • A full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists
  • Inpatient and outpatient services, unique to the region
  • Specialized Pediatric Emergency Care Center
  • 55 bed Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III), staffed 24 hours by neonatologists
  • 10 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, staffed 24 / 7 by Pediatric Intensivists
  • Dedicated Pediatric Sedation Service for neurodiagnostic studies
  • Patient and Family Centered Care
  • Child Life Specialists
  • Center for Autism

Opportunity :

  • Rapidly growing pediatric department in a new pediatric residency program
  • Fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology is preferred.
  • Focus on providing care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient service
  • Candidates must have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching
  • Role includes resident and medical student education
  • Best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered
  • Opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation is also available
  • Serving patients from a large geographic region of over 20 counties
  • Vast primary care referral network to support this position
  • Opportunity to teach, treat and lead positive change throughout the region
  • Time allocations for research and academic pursuits

    • Compensation :
