Overview :
Mercy Northwest Arkansas has some of the of the busiest operating rooms in the northern metropolitan area. This operating room serves over 10,500 patients annually through a multitude of specialties.
There are 17 operating rooms including three cardiovascular operating rooms and a hybrid operating room, with plans to open 3 additional operating rooms.
We offer a variety of specialties at our surgical location sites : General surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, ENT, cardiovascular, thoracic, and neurosurgery.

Qualifications :
- Experience : 3 years experience in an Operating Room.
- Skills as an RNFA in the preoperative setting : focused preoperative nursing assessments, communicating and collaborating with other helath care providers regarding patient's plan of care.
- Skills as an RNFA in any surgical setting including using surgical instruments and medical devices, providing surgical site exposure, handling and / or cutting tissue, providing hemostasis, suturing.
- Required Education : Nursing Degree from an accredited school
- License : current RN license in our state
- Certifications : Current BLS and ACLS certification
