Job Description :
PDN : would provide 1 : 1 nursing support based on the student’s medical needs.
- Minor medical needs in the classroom setting
- Toileting and changing support
- Feeding assistance oral, G, J, and GJ tube
- Mobility in the classroom and school setting
- Collaboration with classroom and school staff
- Works under the supervision of the assigned classroom teacher
- Supports classroom engagement of the student(s) assigned
- Notifying the school nurse / resource nurse if student’s baseline medical status has changed
Requirements :
- Current CPR / AED and First Aid Certification pertinent to the age of the student
- Fingerprints Clearance
- Standard Background Check and Criminal History Record
- Drug Screening
- Annual TB Screening
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella Serological proof of immunity, or proof of immunizations, or signed waiver.
- Documentation of HBV Vaccination, or serological proof of immunity, or signed waiver
- Resume / Work History
