Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing and coordinating operational purchasing, shipping, supplier integration plan activities, and system maintenance for material requirements needed to support daily operations in a highly regulated environment.
This includes, managing and reporting inventory levels, establishing and maintaining par levels, ensuring suppliers are qualified, and proper documentation in paper and electronic records formats in accordance with the Company's Standard Operating Procedures to meet cGMP requirements.
Additionally, this employee is responsible for handling incoming calls and performing customer support functions including but not limited to;
purchase order processing, fulfilment, distribution, including any issues arising from shipped goods, and ensuring all documentation and system requirements are met for regulatory and financial reporting compliance.
Requirements
Specific Duties :
- Manages assigned workflows for warehousing, logistic and inventory activities
- Research vendors for the sourcing of various types of goods and services required by the company, collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather detailed requirements
- Analyzes and monitors vendor spend to identify deviations or negotiation points
- Evaluates suppliers and products based on cost, quality, and availability
- Maintains Warehouse and related functions
- Manages the shipment and receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming purchase orders and outgoing shipments to ensure appropriate delivery time and location
- Pro-actively informs customers of any potential delays that may impact the client / patient
- Establish and maintain par levels for all materials and supplies based on production forecasting
- Prepares purchase requisitions for department approval
- Performs basic data entry and other administrative duties
- Adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures, while maintaining cGMP and cGDP in accordance with FDA and AATB regulations
Education and Experience Required :
- Forecasting
- Effective communication - written and verbal
- Prioritization
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or related business discipline
- Education requirement flexible with applicable experience
- Minimum of (2) two years' experience in a logistics role participating in customer service, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory management
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, TEAMS and PowerPoint)
- Comfortable performing basic mathematical skills (i.e adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, etc.)
