Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team for the upcoming 2024 / 2025 school year.
Location : St. Albans, NY
Salary Range : Competitive Pay, Commensurate with experience
Position Details :
- Hours : Full-time
- Caseload : Multiple Positions Available
grade teacher; Co-teach for 4 students and some resource room groups
grade teacher; Co-teach for 14 students and some resource room groups
Onsite Only
Responsibilities
- Provide an optimum learning environment for all students
- Participate in, contribute to, and be supportive of group decisions and efforts
- Follow District and State guidelines for essential learning and instructional strategies
- Work cooperatively with administration and staff in problem solving and group process activities
- Model lifelong learning, positive self-esteem, and respect for others
- Set and maintain high personal, professional, and instructional standards for self and students
- Perform other related duties as required or requested
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must Have : NY special education certification to include 4 and / or grade 7. (grades 7-12, grades K-12, grades 1-6 with extension up)
- Bachelors Degree (Masters preferred)
- In-person interviews only
