Position : Level 3 Aluminum TIG Welder & Steel Welder

Location : Kilgore, TX

Shift : 1st Shift 7 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm

Pay : $25.00 to $30.00 per hour

Job Overview :

If you’re an experienced TIG Welder with a passion for precision and complex projects, we want you on our team! In this role, you’ll be performing high-level aluminum welding using MIG and TIG techniques in various positions. Whether it’s following detailed drawings or working from verbal instructions, you'll use your expertise to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.

This position is 99% focused on aluminum welding, and you'll be working independently to execute the most challenging and intricate welds, meeting strict specifications and tolerances for complex or prototype products.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities :

• Precision Welding : Set up, maintain, and execute complex TIG and MIG welding operations in all positions, primarily focused on aluminum.
• Fabrication : Use your ability to fabricate components from technical drawings, rough sketches, or verbal instructions with a focus on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Quality Assurance : Inspect your own work to ensure it meets all specifications, ensuring a high standard of quality.
• Metallurgical Expertise : Utilize your knowledge of welding metallurgy to control warping, distortion, and other common challenges related to aluminum welding.
• Tool Proficiency : Use a variety of tools including grinders, tape measures, protractors, and laser levels to complete precision tasks.
• Innovate Methods : Identify and implement welding techniques when standardized methods are unavailable. Offer improvements to current procedures to increase efficiency and quality.
• Fabrication & Design : Design and fabricate jigs and fixtures that hold tight tolerances, improving the accuracy of your work.
