Responsibilities include : Screen and assess patients for safe moderate / minimal sedation for procedures such as diagnostic cerebral angiogram, angiogram for embolization, tunneled line, implanted port, and dialysis catheter placement.
Moderate sedation for other procedures such as bone and solid organ biopsy. Also recover patients from general anesthesia prior to transfer to elsewhere in hospital.
Assist team of physicians, radiology technicians, and nurses in coordination of timely care of embolic stroke patients and trauma patients requiring embolization.
Requires WA (or applicable multistate) RN License and minimum two years critical care (ICU or ED) nursing experience.
