Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Texas requiring a current TX or compact RN license and at least two years of L&D experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • 13-week contract assignment
  • Altera EMR experience preferred but not required
  • Must be available to complete necessary lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
  • Modules to be completed during orientation (average 6-8 hours, non-billable)
  • Travel experience preferred but not required
  • Two supervisory references from within the last three years of employment required

  • Active TX or compact RN license in hand required for consideration
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and any relevant certifications required
  • Resume and license verification required
  • Not accepting local candidates within 150 miles
  • Return travelers must have at least 1 year since last employment as permanent staff at the facility
