Cloud Security Engineer

Compri Consulting is searching for a Cloud Security Engineer for a 100% remote contract for our client headquartered in San Francisco.

It would be 6-months initially with a strong likelihood of extension(s). Open to candidates residing in the U.S. able to work on a W2 contract basis.

Responsibilities Include :

• Completing Security Operations tickets.
• Completing Other Cloud Security Operational Work Tickets.
• Reviewing IAM templates.
• Handling CloudFormation operational work.
• Managing AWS Account Closure requests.
• Processing GCP Cloud Support Requests.
• Providing Cloud Security Tooling Support..
• Conducting quarterly security tooling and access reviews.
• Other Cloud Security Operational Tasks may be assigned.

Skills Required :

• 2+ years' experience in major cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and expertise in managing at least one of the three.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure, network, and application layer attacks, as well as their mitigation methods.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code and Kubernetes security concepts.
• Familiarity with security misconfiguration and vulnerability management processes and cloud security posture management tools.
• Proficiency in at least one programming / scripting language.
• Effective cross-functional partner in the security space with exemplary communication skills.

Salary may be determined based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Anticipated Pay Rate between $55 and $70 per hour (W2 Only)
