Responsibilities
- Supports maintenance department in all areas as needed with a focus on preventative maintenance duties on the production floor
- Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards
- Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly.
- Assists PM Lead in preventative maintenance of assigned functions.
- Has the primary responsibility of the PMs on the entire fleet of Injection Molding Machines and Molding Support according to the schedule.
- Responsible for record keeping of all PMs performed on a daily basis.
- Provide general support to the Maintenance Department
- Handles general repairs, mechanical, basic electrical, minor plumbing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required skills
- 2+ years experience electrical / mechanical background
- 2+ years in manufacturing environment
- 2+ years working experience in facilities manufacturing environment.
- Welding is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work flexible hours, work overtime as needed, and share responsibilities with On-Call System.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion or frequently.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Must have knowledge of FDA regulations.
