The Pharmacy Technician ists pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and package prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels of medications and supplies.
- ist patients in locating overthecounter products and provide basic medication information.
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Completion of a pharmacy technician program from an accredited institution.
- Certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational ss.
- Effective communication ss for patient interaction.
