Global Quality ESD Senior Engineer

As a Global Quality (GQ) Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Senior Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for ESD qualifications for new products and technologies! This includes defining and coordinating lab projects, analyzing resource utilization, monitoring lab data and approving lab reports, evaluating needs for and coordinating design and ordering of new test fixtures, and collaborating with partners in Engineering to resolve failures.

You will also plan and develop new device test programs. It is expected that you will develop innovative test methods to address needs for new technologies and to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.

You will participate in corporate ESD Technical Council and ESD Steering Committees, provide ESD subject matter expertise and support company wide as needed, and interact and advise on a regular basis with internal and external customers on ESD and LU matters.

You will also actively participate in industry forums (, ESDA) to stay abreast of trends and to drive changes that benefit Micron.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with basic electronic circuits, semiconductor processing, device physics, and quality and reliability fundamentals.
• Prior experience in Quality and Reliability (Preferred)
• Prior experience in Test Engineering, Computer Science (Desirable)
• Strong initiative and ability to think and act independently
• Good problem-solving skills
• The ability to work with tight schedules and prioritize competing activities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to collaborate well with team members and drive for results
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The ability and willingness to travel when required
