JOB SUMMARY
Provides the technical skills needed for the successful operation of audio elements for assigned Entertainment venue, project, or event, to ensure highest levels of show quality and a positive guest experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the operation of the audio equipment within the assigned venue, project, or event. To include operation of digital audio console and equipment for a small / medium live show or event with monitors and tracked performances.
- Responsible for assisting in the appropriate installation / setup, strike, storage, and maintenance of audio equipment. Elevates any technical problems or concerns to Lead as they occur.
- Takes direction from Lead to complete team objectives as assigned, such as assembly / testing / prepping of audio equipment. Maintains venue or event specific inventory of all audio equipment.
- Communicates internally regarding technical problems, issues, and / or concerns.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Technical school, Associate degree, or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.EXPERIENCE
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience within the assigned technical discipline.Fundamental knowledge of basic low-voltage wiring, standard audio connectors, basic console signal flow / operation, basic microphone placement / technique, and computer skills including Microsoft office.Preferred
Prior experience within the professional theme park / theater industry in a technical capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Required
Knowledge of basic low voltage wiring, standard audio connectors, basic console signal flow / operation, basic system signal flow / set-up, and knowledge of basic mic placement techniques.Preferred
