The Assistant Clinical Nurse Manager (ACM) will be responsible and accountable for over-seeing the patient care delivery and workflow of our Main OR and Procedure Center.

Directly supervises RN's, department Technicians, Unit Assistants, and Support Staff in all aspects, including hiring / firing, performance evaluation and management, mentoring, scheduling and addressing employee relations.

Duties also include completing daily or shift specific quality audits and visibility boards, facilitating daily huddles with staff, leading staff / quality meetings, delivering quality patient-centered care in a fiscally responsible manner, and rounding with patients and families.

Pay Range

Minimum $124,946 Midpoint $165,547 Maximum $206,149

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

Experience :

Required : Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience. Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience circulating in an acute care setting.

Minimum one (1) year of Charge nurse experience with demonstrated leadership skills preferred and / or equivalent experience.

Preferred : 4+ of leadership experience managing in the healthcare industry. Four years experience in clinical specialty.

Education :

  • Required : Graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing. Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Preferred : Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school or Master's degree in healthcare-related field.

Special Skills : Demonstrated strength in building and articulating a vision and setting goals. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple critical projects.

Ability to build and establish positive relationships. Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position, e.

  • g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others;
  • provide leadership; be assertive and consistent in enforcing policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure;

lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction.

Licensure :

Required : Active Registered Nursing Licensure (RN), Basic Life Supports (BLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS). Specialty Certification (ANCC) within 2 years of hire

Work Environments - Functional Demand :

Light - Moderate energy level Lift and carry 25-35 lbs. Push / pull 50-100 lbs. (ie. empty bed, stretcher).
