Chief Accounting Officer (CPA)

A company is looking for a Chief Accounting Officer (CAO) to lead their accounting organization through growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee global accounting functions including compliance, financial reporting, and internal controls

Manage annual audit processes and collaborate with external auditors

Develop and implement financial strategies, including budgeting and cash flow management

Required Qualifications

CPA required; Big 4 public accounting background strongly preferred

15+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience with at least 5 years in a senior role

Experience in a private equity-backed or high-growth environment is essential

Deep knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting

Proven success in leading teams through transformation and system implementations
