About The Position
Job Title : Cath Lab Technologist Job Specialty : Invasive Cardiac Technologist Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 4x10-hour shifts, primarily days with some late evening and on-call requirements Guaranteed Hours : Information not specified Experience : Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience required License : Must meet the requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824 Certifications : - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (prefers ARRT)- BLS (AHA)- COVID vaccine card showing completed COVID series Must-Have : Good organizational skills and ability to function in multiple roles of the procedure team, including scrub, circulator, and documenter Job Description : Assist with heart surgery in a Cardiac Cath / EP Lab as a Surgical Technologist- Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures- Set up sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment- Anticipate equipment required during procedures and operate equipment efficiently- Maintain sterile instruments throughout procedures- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
