The state supported living centers serve people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are medically fragile or who have behavioral problems. The QIDP II plays a central role in the responsiveness and effectiveness of an individual's active treatment program at an SSLC. This involves oversight of the Individual Support Plan (ISP), which focuses on the individual's preferences, strengths, and needs, including the creation of the ISP. Responsibilities include coordination, monitoring, documentation, and follow-up on all programs, services, and plans for individuals on their caseload. The role involves leading and coordinating the interdisciplinary team (IDT), monitoring and overseeing active treatment programs, determining the need for program revisions, and resolving inconsistencies in training approaches.

The QIDP II facilitates skill acquisition and adaptive behaviors, promotes competent staff interactions in program implementation and behavior management, and ensures compliance with federal and state standards, including the Settlement Agreement with the Department of Justice. The role involves working with individuals with complex needs and potentially challenging behaviors, demonstrating strong organizational skills, and working a flexible schedule to ensure effective oversight. Strong computer skills, including experience with electronic records systems, are essential. The position operates under limited supervision, requiring initiative and independent judgment.
