RN, Registered Nurse, Per Diem, Night Shift - ICU, Intensive Care Unit

The Registered Nurse provides expert professional nursing care; assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care rendered to patients with urgent, emergent or potential health problems; utilizes knowledge of basic nursing principles, practices, ethics, and concepts; participates in the organization and management of the practitioner's practice; Provides strong patient advocacy and liaison to the community.

Knowledge of medical terminology, infection control and safety.

Thorough knowledge of chemotherapy regimens and pharmaceuticals for treatment.

Expansive knowledge of hematology / oncology processes and practices.

Superb understanding of nursing principles.

Knowledge of Electronic Health Records(EHR) computerized practice management systems and other computerized systems (Microsoft office programs and electronic health records systems)

Excellent communication skills, bilingual in Spanish or Chinese helpful.

Current California RN license

Minimum 2 years Oncology experience in hospital and or office based setting
