The need for an individual to serve as a test-engineer for the team, and work alongside other QA and Dev engineers to load builds, execute tests, perform basic analysis for validity of test data and assess issues observed for regressions, and troubleshoot when things go wrong to find root causes from technically complex systems
Expected to be available during standard working hours, and, potentially frequently longer working days and / or weekends, if the role / experiments demands it.
Expected to be available on-site at San Diego office 5 days a week.
Skills
BS / MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience with Bluetooth protocols and packet sniffers, audio digital signal processing, embedded firmware consumer electronics
3+ years of experience in quality assurance / quality engineering
Success Criteria :
All scheduled tests are completed in the time allowed.
All defect reports are written clearly with all applicable logs, timestamps, screenshots, etc. as required.
All reported defects are assessed for regressions compared to mainline builds.
