We are seeking a skilled Network Lab Technician with specialized knowledge and experience in optical transceivers to join our dynamic Technical Operations Team.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Research and Development (R&D) efforts by testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing optical transceivers and related networking equipment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct testing and validation of optical transceivers and related networking equipment in laboratory environments.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues related to optical transceivers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, developers, and sales to support product development and enhancement initiatives.
• Document test procedures, results, and findings accurately for future reference and improvement.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate testing and reliable results.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in optical transceiver technologies.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3 years) working with optical transceivers in a laboratory or live network setting.
• Strong understanding of optical networking protocols and standards (i.e., Ethernet, Fiber Channel, InfiniBand).
• Hands-on experience with testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, optical power meters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Proficiency in documenting test procedures, results, and technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Industry certifications related to optical networking (i.e., Cisco CCNA / CCNP, CompTIA Network+).
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (i.e., Python, Perl) for test automation.
