- Job description : Seeking a motivated individual to join the team at Skyline Medical Center as part of the neuro med / surg unit on the 3rd floor.
- Type of equipment : IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD's, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology
- Documentation system : Meditech
- Patient Experience requirements : Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients / family members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections with patients and include them / family members in their plan of care.
Job Requirements
- Requested Skill Set : Med / Surg Experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV's, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes.
- Must have : Active RN license, BLS certification
- Advanced skills needed : N / A
- Procedures performed on unit : N / A
Schedule Information
Scheduling requirements : 3 12 hours shifts / week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule
Unit Specific Information
- Number of Beds : 20
- Patient Ratios : 6 : 1
- Unit staffing description- Tech support on day shift and night shift. Unit secretary 7a-7p.
