We are currently hiring a team orientated BC / BE Hospitalist to join our fast growing and dynamic team. Join a large, well-established and award-winning health system in Southwest Louisiana.

Daytime Hospitalist
- Employed opening by Health System
- 501 C3 organization, available for PSLF
- Strong referral base, including approximately 65 primary care physicians
- Daytime rotation : Wednesday -Tuesday
7 days on / 7 days off
- Current Hospitalists : 10 daytime Hospitalists and 2 Nocturnists
- Census per day split evenly among Hospitalists
Average 14 -16 patients per day
- Patient population adult, geriatric, no pediatrics
- ER Physicians available 24 / 7 for codes
- Open ICU
- Excellent critical care support 24 / 7 coverage
Procedures optional and no vent management
- Morning admissionist to allow uninterrupted rounds
- Surge Plan with compensation
- Excellent relationship with nursing and case management
- Collegial team, diverse, and accountable

- Organization is transitioning to EPIC EMR in the near future
