JOB SUMMARY : The Director of Food and Nutritional Services is a Management position responsible for overseeing all foodservice / clinical activities, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance within the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES :
- Provide direction and guidance for all foodservice operations
- Develop strategies for delivering high-quality, compliant food choices
- Comply with regulatory standards and confidentiality regulations
- Manage budget, expenses, and payroll activities
- Lead team in providing clinical and therapeutic services
- Participate in patient satisfaction programs and quality improvement initiatives
SKILLS :
Strong leadership and managementExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsKnowledge of food safety and sanitation standardsExperience in food service operationsAbility to manage budgets and track expensesQUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Bachelor s or advanced degree in foods, nutrition, or food service administration (Master s preferred)Licensure / Certification : Completion of a dietetic internship approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; Current Missouri Licensure for Registered DietitiansWork Experience : 1-3 years of Leadership and Management experienceREQUIRED STAFF COMPETENCIES :
