Medical OncologyPatient Population : Med / Surg Oncology, Chemo, Overflow PCU / SDU, Postop Bladder Surgery, Postop Colon Surgery, Palliative Care, End of Life and Hospice SupportPatient Ratios : 1 : 4 for PCU and Chemo;

1 : 5 for Med / TeleNumber of Beds : 20 bedsDepartment Specifics : Active Unit Based Council, Pharmacist and Social Worker on the unit during the day to partner with nurses in patient care, Multidisciplinary Team that works together, Chemotherapy training is available after 3 months, Unit Specific Oncology Education Program, We love celebrating together in an environment that encourages excellence.

QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited ProgramMAJOR - NursingCERTIFICATION / LICENSE / REGISTRATION - Registered Nurse (RN)Basic Life Support (BLS) : BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Description for Job Board : Assess patient s physical and emotional conditions, medical history, health habits, and practices.

Monitor patient progress and update patient records. Administer treatment prescribed by physicians. Educate patients on treatment and preventing recurrence.
